Welcome to New Delhi. You are greeted and assisted on arrival at Delhi Airport /Railway station by Namaste India Trip representative and drive to Haridwar. On arrival check-in at hotel. In the evening proceed to perform ritualistic bathing on the banks of pious river Ganges and join the enchanting evening Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri. Brahma Kund, the spot where the Amrit (nectar) spilled out of the pitcher, is located at Har-Ki-Pauri and is considered to be prime ghat of Haridwar.
Morning drive to Syanachatti via Dehradun & Mussoorie. En-route visit Kempty Fall and enjoy the beauty of Himalayas, later drive straight to Syanachatti. Evening arrival and check-in to hotel for night stay.
Syanachatti–Yamunotri–Syanachatti (17kms Road/1 hr, 7 kms Trek)
Drive to Jankichatti, trek starts from here to Yamunotri (6kms). On arrival leave the vehicle and start to ascend on trek route either by walk or pony/doli (at own cost). On arrival Yamunotri purchase Prasad form local small shops. Then proceed to holy dip in natural hot water spring or in river Yamuna (icy cold water). One can cook rice in “Surya Kund” (hot water spring), dipping in a muslin cloth and take cooked rice home as "Prasadam". Pooja can be offered to mythological “Divya Shila”. According to mythology, river Yamuna came out very first time from “Divya Shila”. Take blessings of Mata Yamuna and trek down to Jankichatti. Further drive back to Syanachatti for night stay.
Morning depart to Harsil. En-route visit famous Kashi Vishwanath temple at Uttarkashi, further drive to Harsil, pass through Sukki top and experience the beauty of Himalaya with spectacular panorama of river valley amides thick forest of deodar (cedar). Evening arrival and check-in to hotel for night stay.
Harsil–Gangotri–Uttarkashi (24kms/2hrs – 100kms/5hrs)
Morning proceed to Gangotri (3048 mts), en-route enjoy the drive parallel to Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. On arrival Gangotri have a holy dip in river Bhagirathi (icy cold water). Perform Pooja and Hindu rites at the bank of river. Then proceed to darshan, of Mata Ganga, Lord Shiva, Hanuman, Vinayka and Bhagirath Maharaj, have blessings and return back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Early morning, depart to Rudraprayag. En-route visit word famous and India’s biggest Dam “Tehri Dam” later drive to Rudraprayag. On arrival check-in to hotel, night stay at Rudraprayag.
Rudraprayag–Kedarnath (80kms by road & 14kms Trek)
Early morning drive to Gaurikund or Phata(for trek route oe helipad).on arrival Gaurikund de-board bus, trek starts from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (3584 mts) on foot or doli/pony (at own cost). Tour members should carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries and clothes for an overnight stay at Kedarnath. On arrival check-in hotel, later visit Kedarnath Temple. Night stay at Kedarnath.
Kedarnath–Guptkashi (14Kms Trek and 35kms road)
Early morning, visit Kedarnath Temple, Jagadguru Shri Shankracharya Samadhi, Udak Kund etc. After darshan and abhishekam move to helipad or trek down to Gaurikund. Later drive to Guptkashi for night stay.
Morning drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. On arrival check-in hotel. Later in the evening visit Badrinath Temple and join the enchanting of evening Aarti. Overnight stay at Badrinath.
Early morning visit temple after a holy dip in Taptkund. Proceed through colorful entrance of the temple have Darshan of Badrivishal along with Ganesh, Kubera, Garuda, Narada, Udhhav, Nar & Narayan. Also see another small temples inside the temple compound i.e. Laxmi mata, Nar-Narayana, Hanuman, Ghantakarn and Kaamdhenu. One can get ‘Charnamirt’(abhishekam jal) in side compound. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddam Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus), one can perform rite here.
Later a visit in Mana Village (India’s last village towards Indo-Tibetan border), which includes Vyasa Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhimpul, Saraswati river etc. Thereafter drive to Pipalkoti for night stay.
Early morning drive back to Rishikesh. En-route see the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda in Devprayag. On arrival Rishikesh visit Shivanand Ashram, Ram jhoola, Laxman jhoola, Gita Bhavan, Pramarth Niketan,Evening aarti, Night stay at Hotel.
Morning depart to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi tour ends herewith happy memories to be cherished forever.
Chardham Yatra - A Journey to Devbhoomi
Char Dham Yatra Devout Hindus, after completing their obligations according to Shastras, think of pilgrimage to the four most holiest of all places. These are Badrinath in the North, Dwarka in the West, Puri in the East and Rameshwaram in the South. Typically a Yatra would keep them on the road for months. The route would take you to Laxman Jhula and Shyanachatti on the way to Janki Chatti, from where you walk on foot to Yamunotri or hire a pony. Pilgrims have a Darshan at Yamunaji temple and bathe in the hot sulphur springs. Then you go on to Uttar Kashi and have a Darshan at Lord Kashi Vishwanath Temple and arrive at Gangotri to offer prayers at the temple of Gangotri mata. The next leg of the journey is a trip to Kedarnath, one of the holiest of places and the site of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Pilgrims usually bathe in the Mandakani River before going up to the Kedarnath temple to worship Lord Shiva. Your journey may take you to Gupt Kashi or you may go straight onwards to Badrinath, offer prayers for your ancestors, bathe in the sulphur water springs and worship at the revered Badrinath temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
