Day 01: Delhi- Shimla(330 kms/approx.9 hrs)
You are greeted by Namaste India-Trip representative and transfer you to Shimla, where on arrival, you will check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure, Overnight stay at Shimla.
Day 02: In Shimla – Day Excursion to Kufri (20 kms / approx. 1 hrs)
Morning proceed for the sightseeing of Shimla covering Kalbadevi Temple, Jakhu Temple, Hanuman Temple or stop for a while at the beautiful stained-glass-windows of Christ Church, which was built in the 1850 ‘s.
Afternoon excursion to Kufri a 30 Minutes drive from Shimla, an exotica of nature as a place surrounded by dense forest and snow caped mountains amidst virgin peaks and natures flora and fauna where one can completely relax and tune oneself for natural beauty, Evening free to enjoy the scenic beauty of Kufri. Fagu, Indira Gandhi Holiday Home and enjoy horse riding in the apple orchids. Return to the Hotel Rest of the day is free to explore various scenic sights or visit mall road and shopping, Night stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Shimla- Kullu –Manali (149 Km)
Morning drive to Manali. Enroute visit Kullu valley, Beas River, Dashehra maidan etc. Evening free, Night stay in Manali.
The Kullu- is spread in the entire Kullu valley which is lavishly gifted with superb scenic wealth. Kullu also known as ‘Valley of Gods’ has numerous temples. Kullu valley offers a scenic charm of peaceful wooded glades and rivers through the rocks. The Dashehra of Kullu is world famous. The ancient Hindus regarded Kullu as the farthest limit of human habitation ‘Kulantapitha’ and its original name finds mention in the epics, The Ramayana and Mahabharta as well as the Vishnu Purana. Kullu, which is located on the bank of river Beas is the Central point of this tourist complex. Running North to South, the main river valley is only 80 km. long and 2 km. at its broadest, yet a fairly wide area is open to the visitors to enjoy the spectacle of variegated mountain scenery. The deodar-fringed grassy maidan, Dhalpur, is a stage for many colorful fairs.
Day 04: Manali- Rohtang Pass
Today morning, proceed on a day excursion to the Rohtang pass. If roads to Rohtang pass are closed, then visit snow point where ponies/horses can be hired directly, later visit Solang Valley where Himachal’s best ski slopes can be found( here you can enjoy paragliding, horse-riding, scooter riding etc. on direct payment basis).The rest of the day is free to explore this scenic town, Overnight stay at Hotel
Day 05: Manali- Dharamsala (240 Km)
Today we will progress to Dharamsala. The plan for the day is to shop in the bazaar for Tibetan handicrafts. Here you can full your bags with exquisite Tibetan handicrafts, Tibetan carpets, garments and other trinkets. Stay overnight at hotel in Dharamsala.
Day 06: Dharamsala local- Dalhousie (127 Km)
Morning after breakfast visit a quaint little town, Mcleodganj. Also known as “Little Tibet” Mcleodganj is the place of residence of Dalai Lama. Later transfer to Dalhousie. Overnight stay at Dalhousie.
Day 07: In Dalhousie – Excursion to Khajjir (23 kms/approx.1hrs)
In morning, drive to Khajjir (commonly called as mini-Swiss of Himachal), a picturesque spot set amidst a backdrop of dense pines, deodars and lush green meadows. Khajjir is exquisitely nestled down in the foothills of the imposing Dhauladhar ranges of the western Himalayas providing a panoramic and breathtaking view to the visitors. Khajjir is part of the notified Kalatop – Khajjir sanctuary. And later proceed to Chamba. Stands on the right bank of the river Ravi, It is well known for its splendid architecture and as the base for numerous excursions. Night stay at hotel.
Day 08: Dalhousie- Amritsar (190 Km)
After breakfast visit Dalhousie local, later drive to Amritsar. Evening you can become a part of Bagha Border. Overnight stay at Amritsar.
Day 09: Amritsar Local- Chandigarh (220 Km)
After Breakfast, Start your city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important Sikh shrine also known as Harmandir Sahib and Durbar Sahib. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- the place that reminds every Indian of the brutal and hearless massacre by British general Dyer. Later Transfer to Chandigarh. Overnight at Chandigarh-Hotel.
Day 10: Chandigarh Local- Delhi Dep
Morning Visit Chandigarh Local like Sukhna Lake, Rock garden, later transfers to Delhi to catch your train for boarding onward journey. Thanks you for your patronage and looks forward to serving you again in the near future.
