Day 1: Arrive Delhi On to Jammu
Welcome to New Delhi. You will be greeted heartily by the Namaste India Trip tour operator who would help you visit all the key tourist attractions of the Dilwalo ka Shahar ‘Delhi’. In the evening you have to depart for Jammu for which you have two options; either take a flight or board a night train.

Day 2: Jammu to Katra (A Distance of about 48 Kilometers)
Once you are done with your breakfast, you can go for Jammu sightseeing. The Temples in the city, the Museum and its Fortresses with famous havelis and Mahals like Mubarak Mandi Mahal, Amar Mahal, Panch Peer, Bahu Fort are really worth paying a visit. Day 3: Katra to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine and back to Katra
Next day early morning, after finishing your bath, wearing clean garments and with a pure heart and soul you start your trek for the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. It’s a 13 km trek uphill to reach the highest point where the shrine is actually located. People who have issues with walking the rugged course can avail options like Palanquins or Horses. On your way to the Shrine falls the Holy Cave called ‘Ardhkuwari’ where according to the myths Mata Vaishno Devi meditated for about Nine Months. The cave is some 6 Kms from Katra. After you have completed 9.5 Kms of your trekking you would reach a resting place called ‘Sanjhi Chhat’. After take rest for some time, resume your trek and walk until you reach the ‘Bhawan’. The journey is difficult. Your endurance and tenacity is put to test yet all tiredness, languor is brushed aside on reaching the Bhawan. Once you reach the Bhawan, show your Yatra slip and obtain your lot number readily. That’ll help you to complete the Darshan of the Mata in an orderly and methodical manner. Once your Darshan is over you are to go back to Katra.

Day 4: Jammu to Delhi
Hire a cab to Jammu. You can then go back to Delhi by Flight or you have options of bus journey or train journey too from Jammu to Delhi. With lots of Spiritual fulfillment and a heart brimming with piety the Vaishno Devi Yatra ends here.
