Choosing a Hotel:<\/strong> You\u2019re going to want to avoid five-star hotels<\/a> in most cases if you\u2019re on a budget. This doesn\u2019t mean you\u2019re going to get a horrible hole if you\u2019re careful. Take the time to compare all the options in the area so you get the best room at the best price.<\/p>\n

Learn to Haggle:<\/strong> This isn\u2019t appropriate in all locations at all times, but you should know when and how to haggle with people for a lower price. In some cultures, this is expected behaviour and if you don\u2019t, you\u2019ll end up paying a lot more for what most get cheaper.<\/p>\n

Avoid the Crowds:<\/strong> When it comes to holiday travel, a lot of people tend to do to the same places. Try to avoid the crowds if at all possible and you\u2019re going to have a much better time wherever you go.
