Shravasti, located in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, is an ancient city with deep historical and religious significance. The nearby Katerniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including endangered species like the Gangetic dolphin and the gharial (a type of crocodile). Birdwatching and nature walks are popular activities in the sanctuary.
