History

Inauguration and Construction- The construction of Prem Mandir began in January 2001 and took over 11 years to finish. It was opened to the public on February 17, 2012. The temple, which cost 150 crore rupees (about $23 million), is dedicated to Radha Krishna and Sita Ram.

The Purpose behind the Temple-Prem Mandir was built with the guidance of Jagadguru Kripaluji Maharaj. His goal was to create a place where people could find spiritual peace, come together to pray, and feel the love of God. The temple was made to spread the ideas of love, devotion, and peace, showing the teachings of Lord Krishna and Radha.

Architecture

Prem Temple is made entirely from Italian marble. It stands 38 meters tall, 58 meters long, and 39 meters wide. The building has two floors on a higher surface.

There is a walking path around the temple. As visitors walk along this path, they can see 48 panels with images that tell the stories of Shri Radha Krishna.

Inside and outside the temple, there are 84 panels along with many pictures that show the loving stories and miracles of Shri Radha Krishna.
