This was our first time visiting Meghalaya and Assam, and we really enjoyed the trip. The route was planned well, so we could see many places without feeling rushed. Shillong had very nice weather, Cherrapunji looked even more beautiful after a little rain, and Dawki's clear Umngot River was just like the pictures we had seen online. We also visited Kamakhya Temple before heading back home, which made the journey feel complete. We liked the local food, especially the Assamese thali. Overall, it was a memorable family trip with lots of good moments and beautiful memories.

Cherrapunji ki natural beauty dekhkar main sach mein impress ho gaya. Humne aaram se kai viewpoints dekhe aur local logon se bhi baat karne ka mauka mila, jo bahut friendly the. Kamakhya Temple mein crowd tha, lekin darshan bina kisi dikkat ke ho gaya. Nature aur spirituality ka jo combination is trip mein mila, woh hamari pehli vacations se kaafi alag aur yaadgaar raha.

The weather kept changing throughout our Meghalaya trip, but honestly, it made the whole journey even more beautiful. The light rain brought the waterfalls around Cherrapunji to life, and the views were absolutely stunning. Carrying a raincoat or umbrella is definitely a good idea if you're visiting during this season. The Guwahati city tour on the last day was well planned and felt relaxed, giving us enough time to explore without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a memorable trip filled with beautiful scenery and great experiences.
