Day 1

HANOI ARRIVAL (NIL)

  • Once you arrive at the Hanoi airport, complete your immigration process and get your visa on arrival. Our driver will be waiting for you at the airport and will take you to your pre-booked hotel.
  • Once you reach the hotel, check in and freshen up. Then get ready for the capital city tour.
  • 13:30: You'll be picked up by our driver and then taken to the Temple of Literature. This is the first university of Vietnam and was established in the 11th century. Do click snaps of its courtyards and ancient gates.
  • 15:15: Now, visit the Hoa Lo Prison Museum (aka "Hanoi Hilton") which showcases Vietnam's struggle for independence. You'll be surprised to know that this museum was actually once a prison used to keep political prisoners.
  • 16:15 - 16:30: Later, you'll be taken back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2

HANOI - HALONG BAY

  • 08:00 - 08:30: Now a bus will take you to the scenic countryside to Tuan Chau Island in Halong City. Our guide will also be there with you. We'll also take a refreshment break during the journey.
  • 12:00: Once you arrive at the Tuan Chau Harbor, our crew will give you a warm welcome aboard the cruise ship. A safety briefing will also be given to you.
  • Get ready for a 5-hour journey on this tour where you'll get to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes, full of islets and outcrops, named after their unique shapes!
  • Enjoy the authentic, delicious Vietnamese lunch on the boat while admiring the beautiful scenery.
  • 13:45: You'll arrive at the Bo Hon archipelago. Deboard the ship and go for exploring the Surprising Cave (aka Sung Sot Cave). It houses impressive stalagmites and stalactites that resemble sea creatures!
  • Now you can go kayaking or indulge in a bamboo boat ride in Luon Cave, and discover the beautiful lagoons.
  • Later, visit Titop Island. You can enjoy the sandy beaches here that lie adjacent to the limestone Mountains. You can also take a trek to the top, from where you can get panoramic views of the whole area!
  • 16:30: Return to your cruise ship, which will take you back to the Tuan Chau Harbour. During your journey back, indulge in sunbathing and music, and the natural scenery all around you.
  • 18:00: Disembark from the cruise ship and you'll be taken back to Hanoi via the new highway.
  • 20:00: You'll reach your hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay.

FLY TO DANANG - HOI AN

  • Our guide will get you tickets to the Hoi An Old Town (included in your package). Explore here the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall. The vibrant Chinese architecture here will treat you with bright gates, dragon statues, and grand rooftops!
  • Also, see the well-preserved old houses, like Phung Hung Ancient House and Tan Ky House. These homes are here for over 200 years and have withstood centuries of weather and war! You can also learn about the lifestyle of merchants that used to live here.
  • Now, visit the Japanese Bridge, which is over 400 years old. This was originally constructed to connect the Japanese and Chinese communities who live on either side of the waters.

Day 5

Fly To Ho Chi Minh - Cu Chi Tunnel

  • Treat yourself to a nice breakfast in the morning.
  • After this, check out of the hotel. Our driver will transport you to the Da Nang airport, from where you'll take the flight to the Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Once you arrive there, relax for a while. You'll be taken to the Cu Chi tunnel in the afternoon (60 km ride). Along the way, you'll get to see rice paddy fields and lush greenery. Also, enjoy the ducks and water buffaloes that swim in the rivers.
  • By 12:45 PM, you'll reach the tunnels. Admire this underground system of tunnels that span across 220 km! Discover the hidden chambers here, try the wartime food that the soldiers ate, and learn how the Vietnamese soldiers lived in these tunnels during wartime.
  • You'll also have the opportunity to shoot the AK-47, one of the main guns used during the war. (Completely optional).
  • The tour will finish by 7:00 PM, and after that, you'll be taken back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Family kooda Vietnam trip ponom, romba nalla irundhuchu. Hanoi Old Quarter vibe, Halong Bay day cruise, and Ba Na Hills ropeway were all well organised. Golden Bridge was stunning in person. Mekong Delta boat ride gave us a nice look into local island life and coconut candy making. Hotels provided were neat and central. Domestic flights timing was comfortable for senior citizens as well. Highly satisfied with this package.

This 7-day tour was full of contrast and culture. Starting with calm Halong Bay emerald waters, then colorful Hoi An lanterns, and finishing with historic Cu Chi Tunnels. The Golden Bridge held by giant hands at Ba Na Hills looked incredible up close. Food options were surprisingly easy to find. Hotel stays were clean and comfortable. A minor wait for the coach pickup at Ho Chi Minh airport, but the tour guide kept us updated throughout.

Loved our anniversary trip to Vietnam. Golden Hands Bridge at Ba Na Hills and Halong Bay limestone islands are unforgettable sights.
