Next morning we will set out for the sacred Pashupatinath Temple which represents the Hindu culture. On the banks of the holy river Baghmati, one can find a great number of Hindu Saints doing prayers and also the cremation work along the river bank. Later on, we will proceed to Boudhanath which is one of the most visited and famous shrines of Buddhists in Nepal. We will then leave for Patan which is very beautiful and is separated from Kathmandu by the Bagmati River.

Our next destination of the day is Lalitpur which is famous for its amazing architecture works. There are numerous temples built inside the central square of the Durbar where each of the temples is built with intricate designs. At Patan, one comes across with a refugee area where Tibetans are settled in great numbers. Those refugees are well-settled merchants of the carpet industry.

Swayambhunath StupaIt’s a time to explore the last sightseeing destination of the day, Swayambhunath. It is located on the top of a hill and is believed to be the ancient religious place. Its golden spire, unique dome structure, and colourful prayer flags make it different from the other religious places of the city. The beautiful paintings of eyes depicted on the walls seem like they are watching the people. In the evening, we will return to the hotel for the overnight stay.
