Here are some reasons why you should book with us:
The best time to visit Pancha Dwaraka is in the winter season - October to March. During this period, the heat subsides, giving way to the pleasant cold. In this window, you can comfortably cover your temple trips in addition to the sightseeing in nearby areas. April to June is very hot. Monsoon rain from July to September slows down driving along the Gujarat coast.
Festivals are the busiest time. Dwarka is at its fullest around Janmashtami (August or September), Nathdwara celebrates Annakut the day after Diwali, and Dakor holds large fairs on Sharad Purnima and Phagun Purnima (Holi). Expect large crowds and long darshan queues on these dates.
During your pilgrimage, you’ll be visiting places like Dwarka, Nathdwara, and Udaipur. These are sample hotels in each town. They are not guaranteed package hotels unless your quote names them.
| Destination | Sample Hotels |
|---|---|
| Dwarka | Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, Hotel Gomti Dwarka, VITS Devbhumi |
| Nathdwara | Justa Brij Bhoomi, Shree Vallabh Vilas Lords Plaza, The Marutinandan |
| Udaipur | Hotel Lakend, The Fern Residency, Blu Feather Hotel |
Our package includes hotel and transport, so you can enjoy the trip without worrying about your accommodation or the transfers.
Our tour starts and ends in Ahmedabad, which has Gujarat’s main airport and a major railway junction. If you plan the route on your own, start at Dwarka and work east. Here’s how you can reach Ahmedabad and the holy city of Dwarka:
Fly to Ahmedabad (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport). To fly closer to Dwarka, use Porbandar (about 105 to 110 km) or Jamnagar (about 140 km, 2.5 to 3 hours by road), and check current flights before booking. Rajkot’s Hirasar Airport is about 215 km away. For Nathdwara and Kankroli, fly to Udaipur.
Reach the Dwarka Railway Station, which receives regular trains from hubs like Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Jaipur, Kolkata, etc. The temple is a short auto-rickshaw ride from the station. Train 19575/19576 runs weekly between Okha and Nathdwara via Dwarka; confirm its current day and timing on IRCTC. Nathdwara station is about 12 km from the town.
Once you reach Dwarka, a private car is the most practical way to connect the five temples. At a comfortable pace, this temple-only route takes about 5 to 6 days. Our 10-day package takes a different order so it can include Somnath, Ambaji, Mount Abu and Udaipur. Drive times below exclude meal, fuel and darshan stops.
With our package, you travel in a private AC vehicle and the driver handles the route.
Timings change on festival days. Confirm on the day of darshan.

Pancha Dwaraka Yatra is a pilgrimage to five Krishna temples in Gujarat and Rajasthan: Dwarka, Bet Dwarka, Ranchhodraiji Temple (Dakor), Shrinathji Temple (Nathdwara), and Kankroli Dwarkadhish Temple.
The five temples alone take about 5 to 6 days, depending on your starting point, pace and darshan timings. Our package runs 9 nights / 10 days because it also covers Nageshwar, Somnath, Porbandar, Ambaji, Mount Abu and Udaipur.
Yes, for most senior travellers, with some planning. Days 1 and 5 are the longest drives (about 450 km and 380 km). Temple queues and steps, such as the 56 steps at Dwarkadhish, are worth discussing with us if anyone in your group has limited mobility.
Yes. Since February 2024, Sudarshan Setu connects Okha with Bet Dwarka by road. Ferries from Okha jetty also operate.
It depends on the temple. Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka does not sell an official VIP ticket, and entry is free. At Shrinathji, the Nathdwara Temple Board runs its own darshan booking and special-entry options on nathdwaratemple.org; check the current terms for your travel date. Avoid anyone outside a temple selling “VIP entry”.
No, not at Dwarkadhish Temple or Shrinathji Temple, and not at Somnath either. Use the lockers near the entrance or leave your phone in the car.
Yes. Reach Ahmedabad by flight or train and our driver picks you up there. The road tour starts and ends in Ahmedabad.
It is one of Rajasthan’s Panch Dwarka temples. The temple was built in 1672 by Goswami Damodar Das Bairagi under the protection of Maharana Raj Singh of Mewar. Nathdwara is about 48 km north-east of Udaipur. It contains the original black marble Shrinathji idol from Govardhan.
The Dwarkadhish Temple is open to devotees from 6:30 am to 1:00 pm in the morning and then again in the evening from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Timings change on festival days.
Hindu tradition says Dwarka was submerged by the sea after Krishna left the Earth. Archaeology is a separate question. Surveys off the Dwarka coast have documented submerged remains, and the Archaeological Survey of India resumed underwater exploration there in February 2025 to study their nature and age.
