Covering both Kerala backwaters and Tamil Nadu temples in 11 days was a wonderful experience. Munnar hills were pleasantly cold and the tea garden walk was very soothing. Ramanathaswamy temple in Rameshwaram was deeply spiritual, especially taking the holy dip in the teerthams. The long drive from Kanyakumari to Rameshwaram was a bit tiring, but the sea views along Pamban bridge made up for it. Vehicle condition was great throughout the long road trip.

Meenakshi Amman Temple architecture in Madurai literally made us stand in awe. Vehicle clean-ah irundhuchu and long drives were comfortable. Road repair work near Rameshwaram delayed us slightly on Day 8, but overall trip went smooth.

A very comprehensive tour if you want both nature and pilgrimage in one go. Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari and Dhanushkodi near Rameshwaram were the standouts for me. Weather in Madurai was quite warm compared to cool Munnar, so carry light cotton clothes. Accommodation booked in Rameshwaram was basic but clean enough. A well planned 10 nights package.

Travelled during August so rainy weather accompanied us through Munnar and Thekkady, making waterfalls look grand. Houseboat ride in Alleppey during light drizzle was very romantic. Rameshwaram sightseeing on Day 9 went smoothly. Small luggage space issue in sedan, but we managed. Good mix of green hills, backwaters, and grand temples.

Great circuit covering two beautiful southern states. Fort Kochi Chinese nets, Munnar tea museum, Kovalam beach, and Rameshwaram temple were top spots. Food was simple, hygienic, and locally authentic everywhere. The hotel in Thekkady was slightly away from the main market, but peaceful. Smooth management overall.

Good balance between nature and spiritual locations. Mattupetty Dam in Munnar, Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari, and Pamban Bridge were our personal favorites. Mobile signal was patchy near Dhanushkodi beach side, but the raw ocean views made us forget everything else.

A very long and fulfilling trip. Munnar tea garden air felt so fresh. Rameshwaram Agni Theertham bath was a spiritual experience. Local fish fry in Kovalam and filter coffee near Madurai temple were delicious. Driver was helpful and punctual every morning.

The 11-day trip covered a lot of beautiful places, from the green hills and backwaters of Kerala to the beaches and temples of Tamil Nadu. Thekkady spice garden was interesting, and the boat ride in Periyar was a highlight for the kids. The drive to Dhanushkodi was also unforgettable, with the sea visible on both sides. The drivers were polite and drove carefully throughout the journey. However, the long travel distances on several days made the trip quite tiring, especially with kids. We spent more time on the road than expected and had limited time to relax at some places. It was an okay experience, but the pace made it less enjoyable for our family.

Trip theek taha aur family ke saath kaafi achha time mila. Kerala me hill station aur houseboat ka experience enjoyable tha, aur Kanyakumari ka sunset aur Madurai Meenakshi Temple bhi memorable raha. Rameshwaram me Agni Theertham par kuch peaceful moments mile. Local South Indian thali aur fresh seafood bhi try kiya, dono tasty the. Bas kuch days ka schedule thoda hectic laga aur long travel ki wajah se beech me rest ka time kam mila. Kanyakumari hotel check-in me rush ki wajah se 15-20 minutes extra lage, lekin baaki arrangements theek rahe.

I planned this trip with my elderly parents hoping for a peaceful pilgrimage along with some sightseeing. Rameshwaram, Madurai and Guruvayur were meaningful visits, and they were comfortable during the temple visits. The vehicle itself was fine, but the journey felt too demanding for senior citizens. Some days involved several hours on the road with little time to rest, and by the evening my parents were usually too tired to enjoy the next activity. Kovalam was a nice change of pace, but the trip as a whole felt more tiring than relaxing. For us, the packed travel schedule took away much of the enjoyment.
