This trip showed us a completely different and refreshing side of Assam. The tea tasting session in Jorhat turned out to be much more enjoyable than I had expected, and spending time in Majuli was incredibly peaceful because it wasn't crowded at all. One of the best parts of the journey was exploring Kaziranga National Park, where we were lucky enough to spot rhinos and several deer in their natural habitat. The only minor inconvenience was having to wait a little longer for the ferry to Majuli, but these things happen. Apart from that, the entire trip was well-organized, relaxed, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Majuli was the place I enjoyed the most during this trip. Walking through the villages and visiting the satras gave me a chance to experience the local culture in a very genuine way. Kaziranga was equally exciting, especially when we spotted elephants from a safe distance during the safari. The weather stayed pleasant throughout the trip, and I came home with so many beautiful photos and wonderful memories.

Traveling as a couple, we really appreciated the relaxed pace of this itinerary. It never felt rushed, which gave us enough time to enjoy each destination. Majuli was incredibly peaceful and turned out to be our favorite stop, while the safari at Kaziranga gave us some unforgettable wildlife sightings that we'll always remember. We also fell in love with the local Assamese sweets and black tea—they quickly became part of our daily routine during the trip. Another thing we liked was how well everything was organized. All the transfers were on time, and we always knew what to expect next, making the entire journey smooth and completely stress-free.
Yeh trip humare poore family ke liye bahut memorable raha, especially mere bachchon ke liye. Majuli ka atmosphere baaki tourist places se kaafi alag laga—bahut peaceful tha aur zyada commercial bhi nahi tha, isliye wahan ka asli charm feel hua. Jahan bhi hum ruke, local log bahut friendly aur helpful mile. Khane ka bhi experience kaafi achha tha, especially fresh vegetables aur traditional rice dishes bahut tasty lagi. Overall, yeh trip hume bahut achhi memories dekar gaya.

I really liked how this trip combined culture and nature in one itinerary. Visiting the satras in Majuli was a unique experience, and I learned a lot about the local traditions. The tea tasting session was enjoyable, and our guide explained everything with great patience. The Kaziranga safari was the perfect ending—we were lucky enough to see rhinos from surprisingly close. Overall, it was a memorable and well-balanced trip.
We were lucky to visit during cool weather, which made every outing comfortable and enjoyable. Walking through Jorhat, sipping fresh local tea, and spending peaceful time in Majuli turned out to be some of my favorite memories from the trip. The Kaziranga safari was exciting from the moment it started, and seeing the wildlife up close was an unforgettable experience. What I appreciated most was that the entire journey felt authentic and relaxed, giving us a chance to experience the real charm of Assam instead of a crowded, commercial tourist destination.
The five days flew by much faster than we expected. Every day brought something new, from enjoying delicious Assamese food to spending peaceful mornings in Majuli. The safari in Kaziranga National Park was undoubtedly the highlight of the trip. Seeing one-horned rhinos grazing freely in the vast grasslands was an incredible experience that I'd only ever seen in documentaries before. We returned to Guwahati with wonderful memories, hundreds of photos, and a strong desire to visit Assam again someday.
As a solo traveler, I felt comfortable and well looked after throughout the entire trip. Everything was organized in a way that made it easy to relax and simply enjoy the journey. Kaziranga National Park was definitely the highlight for me—the vast open grasslands, rich birdlife, and peaceful atmosphere were even better than I had imagined. The cool mornings made sightseeing and the safari especially enjoyable. There was a slight delay while boarding the ferry to Majuli, but it wasn't a major issue and things moved smoothly afterward. Overall, it was a calm, well-paced trip that never felt rushed, and I returned home with some wonderful memories.
I booked this trip with my friends, and we had a great time. The itinerary had a nice balance of sightseeing and relaxation. The ferry ride across the Brahmaputra was a unique experience, and the early morning safari was absolutely worth it because we got to see rhinos in their natural habitat. The breakfast at one hotel had limited options, but the lunch and dinner were much better. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable trip that we all enjoyed.
This was my first trip to Assam, and it left a wonderful impression on me. Every destination had something unique to offer. I really enjoyed visiting the temples in Jorhat, and the ferry ride across the Brahmaputra was a peaceful experience with beautiful views along the way. Kaziranga was another highlight, and seeing its incredible wildlife made the trip even more special. We had to wait a little before checking into the hotel on the first day, but it wasn't a big issue and the rest of the journey went smoothly. Overall, it was a well-balanced trip that gave me some unforgettable memories of Assam.
I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but this trip genuinely exceeded my expectations. The visit to the tea museum turned out to be much more interesting than I had imagined, and I learned a lot about Assam's tea heritage. The safari in Kaziranga was definitely the highlight—we were lucky enough to spot several animals up close, making the experience truly memorable. The drive back to Guwahati was a bit long, but the journey was comfortable and the changing scenery kept it enjoyable. If you prefer peaceful landscapes, wildlife, and nature over crowded cities, I would definitely recommend this itinerary. It was a refreshing and well-planned experience from start to finish.
As senior citizens, we were a little concerned about the long journey before the trip, but everything was planned at a comfortable pace. The hotels were clean and comfortable, and the transport throughout the tour was smooth, so we never felt tired. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere of Majuli, while the safari in Kaziranga became the highlight of our trip. The only small suggestion would be to include a few more local dishes at breakfast, as that would have made the experience even better. Overall, we had a relaxing and memorable holiday and were happy with the arrangements.
This tour offered much more than just wildlife. Learning about Assam's tea culture and exploring the peaceful island of Majuli made the journey even more special. Most of the roads were in good condition, although one stretch was under repair, but it didn't cause any major delay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily choose this package again with my family.
The itinerary was planned really well, and even though we covered quite a few places, the trip never felt tiring or rushed. Everything was paced comfortably, which made it easy to enjoy each destination. We experienced a small delay while taking the ferry to Majuli since the timings depend on the weather, but it was understandable and didn't affect our plans in any significant way. The highlight of the trip was definitely Kaziranga National Park. Seeing the wildlife in its natural habitat was an unforgettable experience, and the park truly lived up to all the wonderful things I had heard about it. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable journey that I would happily recommend to anyone visiting Assam.
Aamcha trip expected tasa bilkul nahi zhala. Driver khup calm hota ani Jorhat, Majuli, ani Kaziranga madhye safely drive kela, mhanun journey comfortable rahili. Majuli madhil monastery baghayla khup chan vatla, ani morning safari madhye one-horned rhinoceros baghayla milala, jo aamcha trip madhla best moment hota. Hotel rooms theek hote, pan eka hotel madhye Wi-Fi properly chalat navhta, mhanun thodi inconvenience zhali. Safari ani sightseeing sathi aamhi thoda jast vel milel ashi expectation hoti, pan itinerary mule te shaky zhala nahi.
I traveled with my parents, and while we were excited about visiting Kaziranga and Majuli, the trip didn't turn out quite the way we had hoped. Majuli was peaceful and beautiful, and we really enjoyed the Assamese thali and fresh tea during the journey. The Kaziranga safari, however, felt shorter than we had expected, and although we spotted a few elephants and wild buffalo, we were hoping to see more wildlife. The afternoons in Kaziranga were also quite warm, which made sightseeing a bit tiring.
We visited during the rainy season, and while the showers occasionally paused our sightseeing, they also made the tea estates around Jorhat look incredibly beautiful. The cloudy weather gave the Kaziranga region a fresh and peaceful feel, and we really enjoyed the scenic drive through the lush green surroundings. Some outdoor activities took a little longer because of the weather, but that's something to keep in mind if you're traveling during the monsoon. Overall, it was a decent trip, and I'd definitely suggest carrying waterproof shoes if you plan to visit in the rainy season.
Kaziranga National Park is closed during the monsoon season, which is from May to October. This is primarily due to the heavy rainfall (and consequently floods) that the region receives in this time frame. The park resumes operation in November.
The best time to visit the state of Assam is in winter. The months of November to February mark the best time to come here, as they offer the most pleasant atmosphere with clear skies. The wintery charm is just a cherry on top! You can comfortably go on safaris and other sightseeing at this time.
Majuli is famous for preserving Assamese art & culture in its monasteries, Vaishnavite Satras, and tribal culture. Moreover, its serene environment is another popular thing about the island that draws tourists in.
Ferries between Majuli and Jorhat start running in the morning at 7:00 AM and continue until 4 in the evening.
The ferry ride from Jorhat to Majuli takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. The duration can change depending on the season and the water levels.
