Day 1: Full Day Agra Sightseeing


Get up early in the morning, and first visit the Taj Mahal in the daylight – one of the most known and admired symbols of eternal love and beauty in the world. Spend a few hours in this marvelous marble tomb and reflect on the grandeur of its architecture and the immaculate gardens.

Next, visit the Agra fort, which is just a few miles from Taj Mahal. The Agra Fort, which is on the UNESCO world heritage site list, is a must visit location. Drop in on the great red sandstone fortress, which was the place where the Mughal rulers used to stay.


Go for the simple option and have lunch in a preferred Local restaurant. Make up your mind between Mughlai cuisine and all other regional specialties.


Experience the majesty of Fatehpur Sikri, a city constructed by the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Try the extremely well preserved site of a once Mughal capital, the Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, and the Tomb of Salim Chishti among the notable attractions.

Then, go to Mehtab Bagh – a beautifully landscaped garden complex on the opposite side of the Taj Mahal near the Yamuna River. View the Taj Mahal from this serene location and watch its reflection against the backdrop of the setting sun.


First, walk around Ram Bagh, the oldest Mughal garden in India, then visit Chini Ka Rauza, which is known for its delicate Persian style .

You can also visit Firozabad and Sikandra with a visit to their places of interest like historic monuments and markets.

At the end of the day, think about the beauty and the history you've seen and you take a bus or taxi to your accommodation or departure point.

Chini Ka Rauza is the mausoleum in Agra which is famous for its outstanding Persian-style tile work. This structure is a testimony of that great poet Allama Afzal Khan Mullah, one of the scholars in the court of Emperor Shah Jahan.


Firozabad is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, which is renowned for its glass and bangle flair. The city is known as "City of Glass" because of its glass production.


Sikandra is one of the oldest parts of Agra where the history is the priority. Tomb of Akbar the Great is without a doubt the most important place here. The venue is the garden area where people can easily relax and experience the nature scene.
