After exploring Ubud and enjoying the first day in Bali, you can head back to your hotel and relax at the poolside. Or, if you want, you can go to the nearby beach to watch the sunset.

Today is going to be a full day of sightseeing in Ubud. Get up early (probably 2 am) and meet your driver, who will take you for sightseeing.

The first key attraction is the Kintamani Volcano area.

After a short drive through the scenic roads, beautiful waterfalls, and mountains, you'll be dropped at the base of the mountain, from where you have to do a trek to reach the top.

From there, you have to reach Mount Batur (famously known as Kintamani Volcano). Witness the breathtaking views of the iconic volcano and the beautiful Lake Batur. You can spend some time capturing photos and having a walk around.

• Trek Time: 1 hour (if dropped in halfway) and 2 to 2.5 hours (from the base). It is up to you, from where you have to start.

Slowly, the sun starts rising, and you'll get to experience one of the best sunrises of all time. This is the perfect moment to click some Instagram-worthy pictures.

Crucial Advice: The best time to visit the Tegallalang Rice Terrace is early morning. It is better to go early in the morning to avoid the crowds. Plus, there are small entry fees of IDR 10,000 per person, and locals may ask for small donations. So, make sure to carry some cash with you.

Come back to the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay in Ubud

Today, you'll travel from Ubud to Kuta. After having breakfast, meet your driver who will take you to your hotel in Kuta.

Next, you'll leave to visit another key tourist attraction: Tegenungan Waterfall. Here, you can spend quality time for a quick refreshing bath in the natural pool surrounded by scenic views.

• Tip: Carry an extra pair of clothes and comfortable footwear
• Entry Ticket: IDR 20,000 (adults) and IDR 10,000 (children)
