Mizoram, a beautiful hill station is studded with innumerable tourist attractions which one can explore during a week-long journey. Mizoram is considered to be the remotest Indian state and the journey to this state commences from Guwahati. Our 5 Nights / 6 Days long itinerary has been designed in such a way that it covers all the rolling hills and the lush Green Valleys bestowing Aizawl and other destination that come under the package. From Aizawl, you will proceed towards the Mc Donald hill where one can reach via covering the trekking trail. Afterward, we will be visiting the other attractions of the state like Reiek Mountain and the local villages.
Day 01: Arrival in Guwahati
On your arrival at Guwahati Airport, you will be greeted by our tour representative. After a warm welcome, he will escort you in transferring to the hotel where you will be staying overnight. After reaching there, check-in at the hotel, loosen up yourself and then after relaxing for a few hours you can either stroll relax in the evening or can make a visit to Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra and make your evening special. Also, participate in the cultural gusto for which this particular state is famous for. Return to the hotel after the completion of your first-day schedule and enjoy the scrumptious night meal and go for a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 02: Guwahati – Aizawl
Early in the morning after a hurried breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Guwahati Airport to board the flight to Aizawl. On reaching Lengpui Airport in Aizawl, our representative will transfer you to the pre-booked lodge or hotel. After a few hours, visit the Bara Bazar one of the most popular shopping centers in this beautiful northeastern state in India. This is the most preferred shopping place from where tourists bring back the souvenirs for their family and friends.
Day 03: Aizawl – Hmuifang Mountains – Aizawl
Post a hearty breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive towards Hmuifang Waterfalls. En-route Hmuifang Waterfalls from Aizawl you will be visiting the Center of Excellence and the Heritage Site in Thika. Post a scrumptious afternoon meal at the resort you will drive towards the nest destination of the journey. Visit Vantawng Waterfalls and Hmuifang Waterfalls at Thenzawl which is believed to be the highest waterfall in the state. After completing a fun-filled day return to the accommodation and enjoy the night meal which will be followed by an overnight stay.
Day 04: Aizawl – Mc Donald Hill
After an unhurried breakfast, proceed towards the first destination of the day on Mc Donald Hill i.e. State Museum. Explore the different handicrafts and handlooms centers in the city and then take a break for lunch. Drive towards the ATC, Durtlang from where they get the panoramic views of the entire city. Later in the evening return to the hotel for dinner and then overnight stay.
Day 05: Aizawl – Lungleng – Khuangchera Caves – Reiek Mountain – Aizawl
Post a lavish breakfast in the hotel you will hit the roads to Lungleng Village where you will be exploring the Lungleng Chieftain which is a popular Heritage home. After visiting Chieftain returns to the hotel for lunch and then drive towards Reiek. En-route Reiek Mountain explores the popular Khuangchera Cave and then go to the top of the hill from where you get the beautiful views of the entire city. Leave towards Aizawl for staying overnight at the pre-booked accommodation.
Day 06: Aizawl – Kolkata/Delhi
Post a relishing breakfast at the accommodation pack up your bags and then drive towards the Lengpui Airport from where you board the flight towards home.
