Day 01: Delhi Arrival
Welcome to India! On Arrival at Delhi International Airport, Namaste India Trip Representative will greet and meet you and transfer you to Hotel. Check into Hotel. Evening time is free for you to explore Delhi Haat. Later back to hotel and Overnight stay at Delhi.
Delhi: Delhi takes pride in being the capital of the country for many dynasties. It is, in fact, a city wrapped in legend, where time flows differently, and where every moment becomes a moment of history. A vibrant melting pot, it encapsulates two very different worlds, the ‘old’ and the ‘new’, each representing delectably different experiences. It is sprinkled with glittering gems like captivating ancient monuments, magnificent museums, a vivacious performing-arts scene and some of the subcontinent’s yummiest places to eat. Delhi blends within its folds the great cultural variety of India with many attraction including Red Fort, The Qutub Minar, The Humayun’s Tomb, The India Gate, The Lotus Temple, The Akshardham Temple.
Chandni Chowk, Delhi Haat, Janpath market, Connaught Place, Khan market are top markets in Delhi which is a treasure trove of goods waiting to be discovered.
Day 02: Delhi City Tour
Today after having a hearty breakfast, we are fully packed to explore the old and n new Delhi including Red Fort, the Jama Masjid and the Humayun Tomb. Along the streets of old Delhi, you will see the Raj Ghat and Mahatma Gandhi Memorial. Return to your hotel in the evening and stay overnight in your hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra (209 Km / 3 Hrs)
This morning after breakfast you will drive to Mughal city Agra and check into your hotel. Enroute you may also visit Mathura-the birth place of Lord Krishna. This afternoon visit world’s seventh wonder Taj Mahal and Red Fort. This famous Taj Mahal is a symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. You may also visit Dayal Bagh. By evening return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Taj Mahal: In the year 1631 Shah Jahan, once a Muslim army commander, the Mogul Emperor in central India lost his beloved pregnant wife Mumtaz Mahal only a few minutes after giving birth to her fourteenth child, a daughter. The final request of his wife was for him not to marry again and prove their endless love by building a dreamlike beautiful mausoleum.
The emperor mourned his dearest wife for two years, changing his wealthy appearance into pure and simple. It was told that his hair turned white in one night because of his deep sadness. As promised, Shan Jahan built the Taj Mahal, in Agra in northern India by the river of Jumna fulfilling the dream of his wife.
The enormous Taj Mahal with a dome height of 240 feet which carries approximately twelve thousand tons was enriched with lovable gardens. The architectural style was a blend of Hindu and Muslim to this day it is not known who the architect was.
Day 04: Agra – Jaipur (236 Km / 5 Hrs)
Today morning drive to Jaipur. Enroute visit Citadel Mughal Emperor Akbar’s Fatehpur Sikri. Check into your hotel on arrival at Jaipur. Evening free for leisure. Later we will move for dinner at “Chokhi Dhani” which is famous for Rajasthani Cuisine. Overnight in Jaipur.
Jaipur: Apart from being the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is also the largest city of the state. The foundation of the city dates back to the eighteenth century, with credit to the great warrior and astronomer Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The glorious past of Jaipur comes alive in the palaces and forts in the city where once lived the royal clans. The majestic forts and havelis, the beautiful temples, the serene landscapes, and the rich cultural heritage, have made Jaipur an ideal destination for tourists.
Day 05: Jaipur City Tour
The morning after breakfast; enjoy visiting Amber Fort with an elephant ride there. Later on enjoy sightseeing city tour of Jaipur. Visit City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal. Evening free for shopping local handicraft. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur – Goa / By Flight
Today Morning after breakfast take a flight for Goa. On arrival at Goa, transfer Hotel. Evening free to explore the local market. Overnight stay at Goa.
Goa: Known as the Pearl of the East, Goa is the most favorite places of the international tourists, coming from all across the world. With the magnificent scenic beauty of the nature and architectural grandeur of the churches, temples, and old houses have contributed much to make Goa a paradise for the tourists. One may visit beaches like Anjuna, Bambolim, Candolim, Dona Paula, Morjim in North Goa or the Benaulim, Colva, Majorda, Palolem, Varca beaches in south Goa. There are several wildlife sanctuaries like the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, and the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary or few museums like the Goa state museum, naval aviation museum, archaeological museum and portrait gallery, etc which draw the attention of visitors.
Day 07: North Goa
Today After breakfast visit North Goa sightseeing covering Mapusa City, Vagator Beach, Anjuna Beach, Calangute Beach, Fort Aguada, Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: South Goa
After breakfast, visit South Goa sightseeing covering (Dona Paula, Miramar Beach, and Old Goa Churches – Bom Jesus Basilica, Mangeshi Temple, Colva Beach, and Enjoy boat cruise on river Mondovi) overnight stay at Goa.
Day 09: Goa – Mumbai
Today after breakfast we will move towards Mumbai (By Flight). On arrival at Mumbai, check into the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Mumbai.
Mumbai: Mumbai undeniably is the business capital of India and one of the major port cities in the country. Mumbai has a diverse nature and multi-cultural lifestyle. The culture here is a fine amalgamation of festivities, religions, music, food, music and theatres. Mumbai is said to have most active nightlife in comparison to other cities. This city celebrates the festivals of every religion with grandeur and fervour. The popular festivals celebrated in Mumbai are Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas, Navratri, Good Friday, Dussehra, Muharram, Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja and Maha Shivratri. Fairs and fests add on to the glitter of the city; Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is an exhibition that displays works of various renowned artists in the fields of music, dance, theatre, and films. Also, Bandra fair is an annual fair that begins on the next Sunday after September 8 each year. This festival commemorates the Nativity of Mother Mary on September 8.
Day 10: Mumbai City Tour
This morning take a full-Day sightseeing tour of Mumbai city, rich blend of East and West. The tour includes visits to 26 meters high British-built Arch “Gateway of India”, Mumbai’s landmark built to honour the visit of George V and Queen Mary in 1911. Marine Drive dubbed, as the Queen’s Necklace is Mumbai’s most popular promenades and a favorite sunset watching spot. The Kamla Nehru Park from where you have a picturesque view of the city, Hanging Gardens are so named since they are located on top of a series of tanks that supply water to Mumbai. Pass by the `towers of silence’ the crematorium of the Parsis. Also, visit Mani Bhawan a private house where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay when he visited Mumbai. It is now a museum and research library with 20,000 volumes. Overnight stay at Mumbai.
Day 11: Mumbai Departure
Today farewell to India with lots of Love and memorable pictures. We will drop you airport for you’re onwards journey.
