Day 1: Full Day Delhi Sightseeing

Delhi - The City of Marvelous Cultural Awe

Famous For - Delhi is known to be full of contrasts and diversity where the Red Fort and Qutub Minar of ancient times settle in with the fancy markets and dynamic street food scene of the urban times. Enjoy the scenic Bangla Sahib or be in awe of the architectural grandeur of the Lotus Temple. Find a city that combines the ancient with the new effectively and pleases you with limitless opportunities for exploration and amusement.

  • First, our Delhi sightseeing tour will take us to collect you from your hotel and our first destination of the day will be Jama Masjid. It is a spectacular mosque, Masjid-e-Jahanuma, which is made of red sandstone. Treasure your time here. We shall delve into the history and pure essence of old Delhi and New Delhi through the way of literally immersing in old classic structures and mouth-watering street food.
  • Secondly, we are going to check out Red Fort, which is super loved for being of great historical significance from the Mughal Terms as well as from the British Times. The Red Fort once served as a storehouse for precious jewels such as the Koh-i-Noor Diamond, the jade wine cup of Shah Jahan, and the crown of Bahadur Shah II, which were later plundered by the Britishers.
  • Because we have spiritual, historical & political interests here, we will travel to Central Delhi next. There we can see the Raj Ghat, India Gate, Bangla Sahib Rashtrapati Bhavan, and the Parliament House, which are all located in proximity.
  • Lunch
  • After that, we pull ourselves together and have a delightful lunch in any of the nearby and well-known restaurants. Walking a new path, we will proceed to The Lotus Temple, which has been tagged as one of the symbols of India’s commitment to world peace and has received global recognition for its architecture that resembles a lotus flower.
  • In our next stop in Delhi, we will embark upon a journey discovering Qutub Minar - one of the most glorious monuments during the Delhi Sultanate time, in the backdrop of orange rays, and finally, we will drop you back to your hotel.
