Cochin Munnar Thekkady Alleppey Tour

When you arrive at Cochin Airport, our Namaste India Trip representative will welcome you and take you to the hotel for check-in. If you have hired a guide, they will come with the driver and help you in the whole trip.

After check-in, enjoy your Cochin tour and visit-

• Jewish Synagogue
• Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace): Famous for its beautiful wall paintings that show stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharata.
• St. Francis Church
• Chinese Fishing Net- Famous spot in Cochin, introduced by Chinese traders. The sunset view here is stunning (Don't forget to click pictures).

Once your sightseeing is done, relax and stay overnight in Cochin.

Note- Dutch Palace is closed on Fridays.

• In the morning have breakfast and then drive to Munnar, one of Kerala's top destination.
• Experience the journey as you travel through beautiful landscapes full of green hills, rivers, and flowing waterfalls.
• On the way, enjoy the beautiful tea gardens, spice plantations and thick forests. Their fragrance makes journey refreshing and shows Kerala's beauty.
• When you reach Munnar, check into your hotel and spend the day relaxing or exploring the surroundings freely.
• Overnight stay at Munnar.

• After an early morning breakfast get ready to explore the scenic beauty and attractions of Munnar.
• Walk through Munnar's beautiful tea gardens famous for their high quality tea. Smell the fresh leaves and learn how tea is made.
• Visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam, a peaceful spot surrounded by hills, where you can enjoy boating (optional).
• Next go to Echo Point and have fun in this unique spot as your voice bounces back from hills.
• Now proceed to Kundala Lake, a calm spot perfect for photography and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. If you get time try to meditate here.
• Explore Rajamalai famous for the rare Nilgiri Tahr, and enjoy the amazing views. You can also see unique plants and wildlife here.

• After breakfast, go to Thekkady, a perfect spot for nature lovers. Drive takes you through green valleys, tea gardens, and hills with great views all around.
• Visit Periyar Tiger Reserve in Thekkady and explore its rich wildlife, full of animals, birds, and natural beauty.
• Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast proceed to Alleppey (Alappuzha), famously known as the "Venice of the East."

Option 1- Stay at Hotel

On arrival check into your hotel.

Evening Activities-

• Go on a peaceful cruise ride on Vembanad Lake (optional) and enjoy the calm water and sunset. (Pay separately)
• Walk along Alleppey Beach, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and take some time for a small picnic.
• Enjoy shopping in local markets where you can find unique gifts, handmade crafts, and regional products.
• Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Alleppey.

Option 2- Houseboat Stay

On arrival check in to your traditional Kettuvallam (Houseboat) for a unique backwater experience.

• As the boat moves, you'll pass through local villages, see many coconut trees, and spot different bird species - it's a special time to take amazing videos.
• Enjoy fresh meals on the houseboat, including a delicious dinner.
• Stay overnight on the houseboat.

Note- Mosquitoes can be around while on the houseboat, so don't forget to bring some insect repellent.

• After a breakfast, leave the hotel or houseboat and go to Cochin, you will be dropped at the bus station, airport, or railway station for your next destination.
