Visit Haridwar Railway Station, a notable sightseeing stop known for its cultural, spiritual, historical or scenic importance during the journey.
Saraswati Pushkaralu is a Hindu festival dedicated to the River Saraswati. This rare event happens once every 12 years. Devotees believe that taking dip here washes away their sins and gives them blessings.
Devotees come from many different places for Darshan. It is a very important festival for Hindus because this journey brings inner peace, positive energy, and spiritual growth.
It is believed that, Saraswati River appears at Mana village and meets the Alaknanda River. Now, Saraswati Pushkaram will be held in Mana village, near Badrinath. Mana village is also called the first village of India (Located near the Indo-Tibetan border). Visitors should definitely visit here for a holy Darshan and to explore nature with stunning views. The river becomes more sacred and special because of Guru Brihaspati (Jupitar). We offer a 4-day Saraswati Pushkar tour package, including comfortable accommodations, expert guides, pick-up and drop-off transport services and the option to customize your trip.
Note: Date of Saraswati Pushkaram festival is May 15 to 26, 2025

As seniors, mountain travels always make us nervous. But this 4 days yatra was managed with great patience. From Haridwar via Rishikesh up to Pipalkoti, the route was beautiful. Main motive was Saraswati Pushkaram near Mana and Badrinath darshan, both completed without hassle. Walking near Bhim Pul was thrilling. Return halt at Srinagar relaxed our tiredness. Devprayag sangam darshan on last day felt divine. Truly blessed trip.
Haridwar se start karke direct Pipalkoti route bohot scenic hai. Mana village me Saraswati Pushkaralu snan was divine experience, pani thanda tha par energetic feel hua. Badrinathji ke darshan fluent hue. Return me Srinagar me stay comfortably pass hua. Devprayag sangam par kuch minutes ruka, photo liya aur Haridwar drop ho gaye. Sab kuch timing par chala. Pure bliss!
Very satisfying yatra for Saraswati Pushkaralu. Reaching Mana village early morning was the highlight. Seeing Saraswati river emerging out of Vyas Gufa and merging at Keshav Prayag was emotional moment. Pipalkoti night stay hotel room was clean but hot water came a bit late in morning. Tempo traveller was comfortable for long mountain roads. Night stay in Srinagar was peaceful and morning Aarti in Badrinath temple was beautiful experience. Good arrangements overall.
Visited during Pushkaralu period with my husband. The gushing sound of Saraswati river near Mana village gives goosebumps. Cold wind was biting so carry proper heavy woollens. Badrinath temple area was vibrant. Mountain roads from Pipalkoti to Badrinath have some narrow patches, so vehicle moved slow, but surrounding peaks looked breathtaking. Hot aloo paratha at local dhaba near Rishikesh on day one set a great mood for the journey.

Hum baseline spiritual trip dhoond rahe the and Pushkaralu yatra fit perfectly. Pipalkoti me evening calm thi. Mana me Saraswati maiya ka roaring sound aur Keshav Prayag ka atmosphere spellbinding tha. Badrinath visual treats se bhara tha. Devprayag me Alaknanda Bhagirathi sangam dekh kar mun prashann ho gaya. Himalayan mountain climate chilly tha so thermals are must.
Saraswati Pushkaralu yatra family ke saath complete ki. Pipalkoti stop helpful tha, aur Mana village, Saraswati river spot aur Vyas Gufa ka experience memorable raha. Holy bath ke waqt weather kaafi chilly tha, aur long travel ki wajah se family thak gayi. Badrinath darshan aur Devprayag ka confluence beautiful tha, lekin poora schedule kaafi hectic laga aur rest ke liye time kam mila. Spiritual experience achha raha, par journey personally quite tiring thi.
Hum log Badrinath aur Mana village ki yatra ke liye Haridwar se nikle the. Road condition Pipalkoti tak kaafi achha tha par mountain drive thoda tiring ho jata hai. Pushkaralu dip ke waqt Mana me bohot thand thi par inner peace feeling magical tha. Badrinath dham me Darshan easily ho gaya. Local khana near Devprayag like Garhwali thali was super delicious. Thoda hotel check in slow tha Srinagar me baaki sab perfect raha.
Short 4 days itinerary covers key spiritual spots smoothly. Day 2 Mana village, Vyas Gufa, and Saraswati Pushkaralu holy bath was the central focus of our journey. Altitude effect was mild so hot tea at last Indian village was comforting. Badrinath temple darshan had moderate rush. Return via Srinagar and Devprayag was easy going. Food options in route were simple, fresh vegetarian dhabas.
Taking my aged parents for Saraswati Pushkaralu was meaningful, but the journey was more tiring than expected. The holy dip near Keshav Prayag and reaching Badrinath safely were memorable moments. However, the cold weather and traffic delays on the Srinagar–Devprayag route made the travel uncomfortable, especially for my parents. The long drive also left us quite exhausted. The pilgrimage was spiritually special, but the journey felt physically demanding.
Traveled solo for Saraswati Pushkaram, starting from Haridwar and driving through the Rishikesh hills towards Pipalkoti. Mana village, Bhim Pul, and the sacred snan at Saraswati River were peaceful and meaningful. Badrinath temple had a beautiful atmosphere, and the return halt at Srinagar was comfortable. My only issue was that some meal stops felt a little rushed, so finding time to sit peacefully and enjoy local food was difficult.A spiritually memorable trip, but a little more flexibility during the day would have made it better.
Around 4 to 5 days is enough for the complete Darshan of Saraswati Pushkaralu Yatra.
To visit Mana village, go to Haridwar or Rishikesh first. From there, proceed to Joshimath, which is about 250-300 kilometers away. This is the best way to reach Mana village.
Yes, tourists can change the itinerary or other details if they are available. Visitors should contact the tour operator directly for more information.
This occasion is popular because of the Saraswati River, which is sacred in Hinduism. Many pilgrims take a holy bath in the river for blessings and cleanse their souls.
