This Bhuj tour package runs for 4 nights and 5 days. You stay in Bhuj throughout and go out on day trips: Mandvi in the south, Lakhpat and Narayan Sarovar in the west, then Kalo Dungar and the White Rann of Kutch in the north.

November to February is the best time to visit Bhuj. Days are mild, and the White Rann is dry and white. During and just after the monsoon the Rann holds water, so the salt flats cannot be seen properly. Summers in Kutch are very hot and not suited to long road days.
Rann Utsav, the winter festival at Dhordo, has new dates each season. Gujarat Tourism announces them, so check the current schedule before you fix your travel dates.
By air: Bhuj Airport is about 4 km from the city centre. Flight schedules change by season, so check current flights from Mumbai and Delhi before you book.
By train: Bhuj Railway Station has trains from Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
By road: Bhuj is connected by highway to Ahmedabad and the rest of Gujarat.
You need an entry permit for the White Rann at Dhordo. It is issued at the Bhirandiyara checkpost on the way from Bhuj, or online at rannpermit.gujarat.gov.in, the government portal that Gujarat Tourism links to. Carry an original photo ID for each traveller.
A fee is charged per person and per vehicle. The rate is revised from time to time, so check the current amount before you travel.
