Wonderful week exploring South India. Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai took my breath away with its stunning architecture and detailed gopurams. The journey from Rameshwaram across the Pamban Bridge area was stunning. We tried authentic South Indian meals at local eateries along the way, especially the filter coffee. The weather was a bit humid in Chennai and Mahabalipuram, but our AC car kept us comfortable throughout. Highly satisfying cultural journey.

Covered all major temple cities from Chennai to Kanyakumari. Ranganathaswamy Temple in Trichy was truly magnificent. Day 4 road travel between Tanjore, Trichy, and Madurai felt a little packed, and by evening we were quite tired. Still, all the planned temple visits were completed. Hotel rooms were clean and the food was fresh and light. Overall, a meaningful trip, though a little more rest time would have made it more comfortable.

Overall places memorable, but journey konchem tiring ga anipinchindi.
