Bandhavgarh is a Tiger stronghold and is likely the best place in the world to see one. Kanha is well-known for its verdant green grasslands and towering Sal forest. Kanha is well-known for its tigers and bird watching, and it is home to the last surviving population of Hard Ground Barasingha (Swamp Deer).
Both national parks have nearly identical fauna and flora. In comparison to Kanha, Bandhavgarh is a smaller national park. Tigers are more abundant in Bandhavgarh. It is very easy to get to, being only 25 kilometers from Umaria, the nearest rail station.
Khajuraho is one of India’s most popular tourist destinations, with the country’s largest collection of mediaeval Hindu and Jain temples known for their erotic sculptures. The Khajuraho Group of Monuments has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986 and is considered one of the “seven wonders” of India.
Panna National Park was designated as one of India’s tiger reserves in 1994/95 and was placed under Project Tiger’s protection.
There is only one safari zone in Panna National Park, with two entrance gates – Hinauta and Madla. However, Madla is regarded as the most prominent zone, with some good lodging options nearby.
