On reaching Chandigarh Airport, you can move ahead to your planned destination by bus, train or a private taxi.
By Road: From Chandigarh, you will have to cover almost 3-4 hours long road journey to reach Shimla. To cover this road distance you can either opt for private buses or public buses but if you are traveling with low budget then go for public buses through state-run bus service operating between Shimla and Chandigarh. Hiring a private taxi is also a great idea but it is substantially more economical than the buses.
