Welcome to Pune, you are greeted by Namaste India Trip representative. Begin your trip to Theur, to one of the larger and more famous Ashtavinayak Temples. The history of this temple describes how Ganesha retrieved the wish giving jewel Chintamani for his devotee, the sage Kapila from a greedy king Gana.

Theur to Moregaon (70 Kms/2 Hrs)

After darshan proceed to Moregaon to Shri Mayureshwar Mandir which relates the temple to killing of the demon Sindhu by Ganesha.

Moregaon to Siddhatek (65 Kms/2 Hrs)

Later proceed to Siddhatek to Siddhivinayak Temple which is a jagrut kshetra where Ganesha is said to be highly powerful. It is a place where Vishnu invoked Lord Ganesha to bestow his blessings and various siddhis.

Siddhatek to Ranjangaon(92 Kms/2 Hrs)

visit Ranjangaon to Shri Mahaganpati . It is said that Lord Shiva invoked Lord Ganesha before fighting the demon Tripurasura.

After breakfast proceed to Ozar to Vighneshwara Temple. It is associated with the legend of Ganesha defeating Vignasura, the demon of obstacles.

Ozar to Lenyadri (15 Kms/30min)

After darshan proceed to Lenyadri which is famous for 30 rock cut Buddhist caves. Cave 7 is dedicated to Lord Ganesha’s temple.

Lenyadri to Mahad (134 Kms/3 Hrs)

After Lunch proceed to Mahad to Varad Vinayak temple which means the one who blesses all wishes. The idol of this temple is a swayambu and was found in the adjoining lake in an immersed position.

Mahad to Pali (42 Kms/1 Hrs)

After darshan proceed to Pali to Ballaleshwar temple. It is believed that Lord Ganesha had saved a devotee boy, Ballala, whi was beaten by local villagers and his father for his single minded devotion to him. Later return to Pune Railway station/Airport/ Bus Stop for journey to onward destination.
