This 4-day trip covered everything we wanted without feeling rushed. We started from Delhi and reached Dehradun comfortably. On the second day, Mussoorie welcomed us with pleasant weather and clear mountain views. Walking on Mall Road in the evening with hot coffee was one of my favorite moments. We visited Kempty Falls, Company Garden, and later explored the peaceful surroundings of Dhanaulti. The visit to Har Ki Pauri for the evening Ganga Aarti in Haridwar was truly unforgettable. Watching hundreds of diyas floating on the Ganga created a different kind of peace. Our driver was polite and drove safely throughout the tour. The only small inconvenience was weekend traffic near Mussoorie, but that's expected during tourist season. Overall, it was a memorable family holiday.
Ami wife aar amar 10 bochorer meyer sathe ei trip e giyechilam, aar puro experience ta bhalo legechilo. Mussoorie-r hill views, Gun Hill aar Kempty Falls khub enjoy korechi, aar amar meye Company Garden e birds ke khawate khub khushi hoyechilo. Dhanaulti-r shanto poribesh onek bhalo legechilo. Rishikesh-er Ganga-r dhare boshe thaka aar Haridwar-er Ganga Aarti dekhata puro trip-er best memory hoye roilo.
As senior citizens, my husband and I were looking for a comfortable holiday where we wouldn't have to worry about planning every detail ourselves. This package matched our expectations. January mornings were cold, but the skies remained clear enough for beautiful mountain views. The drive from Dehradun to Mussoorie was scenic, and we appreciated that the driver never rushed on the winding roads. We visited Company Garden, Kempty Falls, and spent a relaxed evening on Mall Road enjoying fresh coffee and roasted corn. Dhanaulti was probably the quietest place we visited. Walking slowly through the Eco Park surrounded by tall trees was refreshing. Rishikesh offered another kind of peace with the flowing Ganga and temples along the riverbanks. Nothing, however, matched the feeling of attending the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. It was simple, spiritual, and deeply memorable. One breakfast could have included a few more options, but that was a very small concern compared to the overall experience.
Mi ani majhi sister monsoon madhye Uttarakhand la gelo, ani hirvegar pahad baghun khup fresh vatla. Mussoorie, Dhanaulti ani Rishikesh saglech khup sundar hote, pan Haridwar chi Ganga Aarti saglyat jast avadli. Thoda paus mule ushir zhala, pan overall trip khup chan ani memorable rahili.

My wife and I chose this trip for our anniversary, and it gave us some lovely memories together. Mussoorie, Dhanaulti, and Rishikesh were all beautiful, with peaceful hill views and a relaxing atmosphere. The evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri was the highlight of the trip. We faced a little traffic near Haridwar, but overall it was a comfortable and enjoyable journey.
I traveled with my parents, and this itinerary suited us really well. Dehradun was calm compared to the busy cities, and Robber's Cave turned out to be an interesting stop. Mussoorie had cool weather, and we enjoyed strolling around Camel's Back Road before heading to Dhanaulti. The eco park there was peaceful and less crowded. In Rishikesh, we spent some quiet time at Triveni Ghat before continuing to Haridwar. The Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri was the emotional highlight of the trip. Hotel breakfast had limited choices on one morning, but everything else was nicely organized. We also enjoyed aloo puri and hot jalebi near Haridwar market.
September was a great time to visit Uttarakhand, with green hills and pleasant weather. As a solo traveler, I felt comfortable throughout the trip and enjoyed the peaceful vibe of Mussoorie, Dhanaulti, Rishikesh, and the beautiful Ganga Aarti at Haridwar. Hotel check-in took a little longer than expected, but the staff handled it well, making the overall experience relaxing and enjoyable.
This was my first visit to Haridwar and Rishikesh, although I had always wanted to see the Ganga in the foothills of the Himalayas. The itinerary was well balanced because every destination had its own unique character. Dehradun felt relaxed, while Mussoorie was lively with cafés, viewpoints, and bustling markets. I enjoyed shopping for handmade candles and local chocolates before heading towards Dhanaulti. The peaceful forests there were a welcome change after the busy streets of Mussoorie. Rishikesh had an atmosphere that encouraged you to slow down. Walking across Ram Jhula, listening to the sound of the river, and enjoying a simple vegetarian meal overlooking the Ganga became one of my favorite memories. Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar during the evening Aarti was another unforgettable experience. The only small inconvenience was that we reached one sightseeing point slightly later because of roadwork near Mussoorie. Even so, the tour never felt stressful. I returned home feeling refreshed and with plenty of beautiful memories.
Normally main apni trips khud plan karta hoon, lekin is baar parents ke saath tension-free holiday chahiye thi, aur ye trip kaafi achha raha. Mussoorie ki weather, Mall Road, Kempty Falls aur Dhanaulti ka peaceful atmosphere sab bahut pasand aaya. Rishikesh ka calm vibe bhi accha laga, lekin Haridwar ki Ganga Aarti dekhkar mere parents ki khushi hi is trip ka best part thi. Overall family ke saath ye journey comfortable aur yaadgar rahi.
Winter trip tha aur honestly weather bahut mast tha. Mussoorie mein thand expected se zyada thi, lekin mountain views usse bhi zyada beautiful the. Humne Kempty Falls dekha, Mall Road pe walk ki aur local Maggi enjoy ki. Dhanaulti ka peaceful atmosphere bhi kaafi accha laga. Rishikesh mein Lakshman Jhula area explore kiya aur Ganga ke kinare kuch time spend kiya. Haridwar ki evening Aarti meri trip ka best part thi. Bas return ke din thoda traffic mila, jis wajah se Delhi pahunchne mein extra time lag gaya. Baaki overall experience kaafi satisfying raha.
Ye trip family ke saath ki thi aur sabko pasand aayi. Mussoorie ka weather thoda cold tha lekin views usse bhi better the. Humne Mall Road pe kaafi walk ki, local market dekha aur garma garam momos khaye. Kempty Falls mein crowd tha kyunki weekend tha, isliye thoda wait karna pada. Dhanaulti surprisingly bahut peaceful nikla. Wahan ka forest area aur clean environment dekhkar accha laga. Rishikesh mein Ganga ke kinare kuch der baithna hi kaafi relaxing tha. Haridwar ki Ganga Aarti dekhkar laga ki trip complete ho gayi. Driver bhi kaafi experienced the aur hill driving bahut smoothly ki. Agar thoda aur free time Mussoorie mein milta to aur accha lagta.
Hum family ke saath gaye the aur overall trip kaafi enjoyable rahi. Dehradun se Mussoorie ka road journey bahut scenic tha. Kempty Falls aur Company Garden dono jagah accha time spend kiya. Mall Road pe evening walk ke baad garam coffee aur bun maska ka alag hi maza tha. Dhanaulti ka environment bahut peaceful laga. Wahan tourist kam the isliye nature ko aaram se enjoy kar paaye. Rishikesh mein Ram Jhula aur Ganga kinare kuch time spend kiya. Haridwar ki Ganga Aarti dekhkar sab emotional ho gaye, especially mere parents.
Ame couple tarike aa trip book kari hati. Mussoorie nu weather mast hatu ane Mall Road par farvani maja aavi. Dhanaulti ni shanti pan khub gamee ane Rishikesh-Haridwar no spiritual vibe pan saro hato. Bas thodi jagyae expected karta vadhu time lagyo ane trip etli khas feel na thai, pan overall experience theek-thaak rahyo.
My first trip to Uttarakhand was a nice experience overall. Mussoorie's hill views, Dhanaulti's peaceful atmosphere, and the calm vibe of Rishikesh were enjoyable, while Har Ki Pauri's evening Aarti was the highlight of the trip. There was a bit of crowd and some waiting at a few places, but the journey was comfortable, and the itinerary gave a good mix of nature, spirituality, and sightseeing.
I went on this trip with my college friends, and although Mussoorie, Rishikesh, and Haridwar were beautiful, the heavy crowds, long travel hours, and traffic between destinations made the journey more tiring than we expected. A few places felt too crowded to enjoy properly, and we couldn't spend as much peaceful time as we had hoped. The trip was decent, but overall it didn't feel as enjoyable or memorable as we had imagined.
To plan your Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dhanaulti, and Mussoorie trip, book hotels and transport at least a week early. Visit from September to June for nice weather, check hidden charges, carry your ID, and pack light clothes for day and warm clothes for the night. A 4 to 5-day trip is good to cover Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dhanaulti, and Mussoorie comfortably.
No only people walking or cycling are allowed here. Motor vehicles are not permitted to keep the area safe and comfortable for all visitors.
The best activities to do in Rishikesh are visiting Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula, enjoying river rafting at Shivpuri, attending the evening Ganga Aarti, practicing yoga at ashrams like Parmarth Niketan, exploring small cafes, and taking walk near riverside.
Main roads are usually well maintained but in the hills some areas are narrow. Take your time while driving and enjoy the journey safely.
