We booked this 4 day trip for my mother's 70th birthday and it turned out better than expected. The drive from Hyderabad to Srisailam took a little over 5 hours because of some traffic near Achampet but the ghat road views made up for it completely. The temple darshan was smooth, no major rush that day. Stayed in a decent hotel near the temple complex and food was simple but tasty, lots of good filter coffee. Second half of the trip covering Hyderabad sightseeing including Charminar and Golconda Fort was a nice contrast to the pilgrimage part.
Ye trip humne apni family ke saath liya tha aur bahut hi accha experience raha. Srisailam ka route ghat sections se hokar jata hai jo dekhne mein bahut sundar tha, thoda winding zaroor hai. Temple mein crowd manageable tha jab hum gaye. Weather bhi thanda tha us din jo din ko aur enjoyable bana diya. Hyderabad mein Charminar aur Golconda fort dekha, dono jagah guide ne acchi jaankari di. Khaane ka intezaam bhi theek tha, south indian aur north indian dono mila. Trip mujhe toh acha hi laga.
Amazing 4 days overall. Srisailam temple is beautifully located near the Krishna river and the ghat area is worth spending time at, very calming. Weather was pleasant, cool mornings and warm afternoons. Hyderabad sightseeing covered Charminar, Golconda fort and Ramoji Film City area nearby which our family enjoyed a lot. Hotel rooms were clean and food options were plenty. Biryani in Hyderabad lived up to its reputation completely. Would recommend this package to anyone wanting a mix of pilgrimage and city sightseeing without too much hassle.
Went for this trip with my mother, both of us being regular temple visitors. Srisailam Jyotirlinga darshan felt very fulfilling, the temple architecture is intricate and beautiful. We also visited the Krishna ghat nearby which was peaceful in the evening light. Hyderabad leg included Charminar, Golconda fort and a short visit to Birla Mandir which was an unplanned but pleasant addition. Meals were tasty, especially the south Indian breakfast options. Weather was comfortable throughout.

Being from Andhra myself, I have visited Srisailam before but this organized trip made things much easier for my elderly parents. Darshan queue management was good, we didn't have to stand for too long. The ghat road drive is always beautiful, especially with the forest cover around Nallamala hills. Hyderabad sightseeing including Golconda and Charminar was smooth and well timed. Food arrangements suited our taste well since it was mostly local Andhra style. A well planned trip, would book again for other pilgrimage destinations too.
This trip with my daughter turned out to be a memorable mother daughter getaway. Srisailam is such a serene place, we spent time near the Krishna ghat just sitting and watching the water flow after the temple visit. The long drive didn't feel tiring because the roads were decent and we made a couple of stops. Hyderabad sightseeing days had a good balance of history and leisure, Golconda fort in particular was impressive. Food was consistently good, tried different Andhra dishes. A trip we will remember fondly for a long time.
Family trip with my wife and two kids, overall a lovely experience. Srisailam darshan was smooth, kids enjoyed watching the Krishna river ghat area too. Weather was pleasant during our visit which made sightseeing comfortable. Hyderabad days covered Golconda fort, Charminar and a fun evening at Necklace Road near Hussain Sagar lake. Kids loved the local ice cream stalls there. Food throughout was tasty and varied enough for picky eaters too.
Ekdum shaandar trip raha humare liye. Srisailam ka Jyotirlinga darshan karke bahut hi santushti mili, temple ka mahaul bahut spiritual lagta hai. Ghat road ka drive lamba tha lekin scenery itni sundar thi ki thakaan mehsoos nahi hui. Krishna nadi ke ghat par thoda time bitaya jo bahut peaceful anubhav tha. Hyderabad mein Charminar aur Golconda fort dekha, dono hi history se bharpoor jagah hain. Khaana bhi bahut tasty tha, especially biryani.
Went with my sister for a short spiritual break. Srisailam is such a powerful place, one of the twelve jyotirlingas and you can feel the energy in the temple premises. The drive itself was long, around 5 hours each way, but the scenery along the ghats kept us occupied. We tried local Andhra food on the way which was spicy but delicious. Hyderabad days were more relaxed with Charminar, Golconda and a quick stop at Hussain Sagar. Overall smooth trip, just wish the itinerary had a bit more buffer time on day one.
Traveled with my parents for this pilgrimage trip. Srisailam is a beautiful and quiet temple town, the Mallikarjuna temple darshan was peaceful and well organized during our visit. The drive was smooth mostly, roads in good condition. We stopped at a small local eatery on the way back which served excellent Andhra style meals. Hyderabad portion had Charminar, Golconda and Salar Jung museum which my father particularly enjoyed. Weather was cool and pleasant throughout our stay.
Went on this trip with my wife, a short getaway from routine life. Srisailam surprised us with how tranquil it felt despite being a popular pilgrimage spot. The temple town has a certain calm about it, especially near the river ghats. Return drive to Hyderabad was long but broken up nicely with a food stop where we had proper Andhra meals. Hyderabad sightseeing covered the usual spots, Charminar and Golconda, both worth visiting.
Bahut accha trip raha overall, khaaskar Srisailam ka darshan bahut peaceful tha. Route thoda lamba hai Hyderabad se, around 5 ghante ka drive, but ghat road ke views isko worth bana dete hain. Hum log ne Krishna river ghat bhi dekha jo bahut shaant aur khoobsurat jagah hai. Hyderabad mein Charminar aur Golconda fort ghumaya, dono hi jagah historical aur interesting lagi. Khana bhi tasty tha, local biryani try ki jo bahut famous hai.
Traveled alone for this trip and honestly it felt very safe and comfortable throughout. Srisailam temple visit was spiritually satisfying, took time to sit near the temple premises after darshan just soaking in the atmosphere. The ghat road journey is long but scenic with dense forest on both sides. Hyderabad sightseeing including Charminar and Golconda fort was informative and well paced. Meals were good, tried the local biryani which is quite famous here.
My wife and I took this trip as part of a longer south India tour and it fit in nicely. Srisailam was a peaceful contrast to the beach life we are used to, the temple and the surrounding hills near Nallamala forest were beautiful to see. The drive is long but comfortable, vehicle was clean and driver stopped whenever we needed a break. Hyderabad sightseeing covered Golconda fort and Charminar, both impressive in their own way. Food was flavorful throughout, biryani being a definite highlight. Overall a smooth and enjoyable four day trip.
Solo trip for me, wanted to visit Srisailam for a long time. The journey from Hyderabad was long but the car was comfortable and stops were made for tea and washroom breaks. Temple darshan was spiritual and unhurried since I went on a weekday. Stayed near the Krishna ghat area and the sound of the river at night was calming. Hyderabad part felt slightly rushed with Golconda and Charminar packed into one day. Would have liked a bit more time there. Food throughout was decent, nothing extraordinary but nothing bad either.
Senior citizen here, travelled with my wife. The trip was well planned for our pace, no rushing around. Vehicle was comfortable with enough legroom which mattered a lot for us. Srisailam darshan queue was long that day but moved steadily. We appreciated the short rest given before entering temple. Hyderabad sightseeing days were relaxed, covered Golconda fort partially since climbing fully was tough for us. Meals were arranged keeping our preferences in mind. Only thing, room on day one didn't have hot water immediately, resolved after a call to reception.
We are a family of five and this trip suited us well timing wise. Srisailam darshan took some waiting but temple surroundings are so scenic that it didn't feel boring. Ghat road drive was a bit long for kids but they enjoyed the hills and forest views. Hyderabad sightseeing was nice, especially Golconda fort's light and sound show in the evening. Food was good throughout, kids liked the paneer dishes more than the spicy local food.
Trip mostly went well. Srisailam darshan was smooth in the early slot we chose. Ghat road scenery was a highlight, lot of curves but driving was steady and safe throughout. Hyderabad sightseeing days felt a bit packed, we barely had time to explore Golconda properly before moving to next spot. Food was good, especially the Hyderabadi biryani which we had twice. Hotel was average, nothing special but clean and functional. Would suggest slightly more time allotted for Hyderabad monuments in future itineraries.
Simple and satisfying trip. Srisailam temple visit was the main purpose and it did not disappoint, darshan was arranged well without too much waiting. The road trip itself is long so carry some snacks and water. Hyderabad days were filled with Charminar, Golconda fort and some free time for shopping near Laad Bazaar. Food was flavorful throughout, tried local biryani and it was good.
Traveled with two friends during the summer, weather was quite hot but manageable since the vehicle had good AC. Srisailam temple darshan was well organized, priests explained the significance of the jyotirlinga which we appreciated. The journey passes through some scenic ghat stretches, good for photography if you are into that. Hyderabad sightseeing was decent, covered Golconda fort and Charminar though we would have liked a visit to Ramoji Film City too if time allowed. Food was good throughout, local thalis were filling. Overall satisfied with the trip.
Practical review here. The tour is well structured, two days for Srisailam pilgrimage and two for Hyderabad sightseeing which balances things nicely. Drive time is around 4 to 5 hours each way as mentioned, roads were mostly good with a few rough patches near the ghat sections. Temple darshan timing worked out fine for us. Hyderabad covered Charminar, Golconda fort and a museum visit. Food was decent, hotel rooms clean though basic. Would recommend for someone wanting a straightforward pilgrimage plus city trip without much fuss.
Trip theek-thaak si. Srisailam really beautiful temple town hai, darshan layi crowd karke thoda time lag gaya, par Krishna river de ghats de surroundings karke wait zyada boring nahi lagga. Hyderabad ton journey kaafi long hai, around 5 hours, so elders naal travel kar rahe ho taan thoda plan karke chalna better hai. Hyderabad sightseeing vich Charminar te Golconda Fort dekhe, dono interesting si but jadon asi gaye si crowd kaafi zyada si. Food overall changa si, especially local biryani bahut tasty lagi. Overall decent experience, bas long travel karke thodi tiredness ho gayi.
This was our first trip to South India, and Srisailam was definitely the highlight. The temple, hills and Krishna river made the place feel special. The journey was quite long, although the AC vehicle was comfortable enough. Hyderabad sightseeing was also nice, especially seeing Charminar lit up at night. Food was flavorful and we enjoyed trying biryani and haleem. The main issue was that the overall schedule felt a little tiring, with limited time to actually relax and enjoy the places. There was also a small delay during checkout on the final day, which made the last part of the trip a bit rushed. Overall, the trip was okay, but it could have been more relaxed.
Assam pora iman dur ahisil, so trip tu amar babe quite special asil. Srisailam Jyotirlinga darshan was the main reason for coming, and early morning darshan tu peaceful asil. Road journey khub long asil, majot olop rest loi thakile manageable hoi. Krishna river ghat usorot beautiful asil, olop time spend kori photos loisilu. Hyderabad city tour ot Charminar, Golconda aru Hussain Sagar dekha hol, but overall schedule tu olop tiring lagil. Long travel aru sightseeing ekeloge thakar karone Srisailam ot besi time spend koribo nuwarilu. Hyderabad biryani definitely tasty asil. Overall trip tu okay, but more relaxed timing aru Srisailam ot olop extra time thakile experience tu better holhetan.
My husband and I took this trip as a small anniversary getaway. The early morning visit to Srisailam temple was peaceful, and the priests were helpful during the rituals. The ghat road was scenic with plenty of greenery, though the long drive was a little tiring. We also enjoyed the Hyderabad part, especially walking around the pearl market near Charminar. The hotel was clean and the service was good, and the local Andhra thali was tasty. The only drawback was that the schedule felt slightly tight, especially towards the end, and there wasn't much free time to relax. There was also some traffic near the airport on the last day, but we reached in time. Overall, a decent anniversary trip with some lovely moments.
