Amarnath Yatra with Vaishno Devi Yatra

Upon arriving at Delhi our tour representative will assist you to New Delhi railway station where you will be made to board an overnight train to Amritsar.

Early in the morning upon your arrival, you will be duly checked in to your hotel and after having your breakfast and freshening up you will be made to proceed for a complete day of sightseeing tour. This sightseeing will start off from a visit to Golden Temple – one of the most prominent sites of pilgrimage for Sikhs. You will then be taken to Jallianwala Bagh – which is the chilling reminder of India’s colonial past; during the evening you will be taken to the Indo – Pak border of Wagah border where you will be made to witness the stunning flag retreat ceremony.

Your day of sightseeing will conclude once you are taken back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to breathtaking Jammu. Upon your arrival here you will be made to visit the famous Raghunath temple – one of the largest Hindu temple complexes in Northern India consisting of seven different Hindu shrines.

Later after a soulful visit, you will be transferred to Katra, which is located at a distance of 1 hour and 30 mines. Here you will be staying the night in your allotted hotel.

Early in the morning, you will be made to proceed towards Banganga – which will be the starting point for your trekking journey towards the sacred Vaishno Devi Temple. You have the option of either walking all the way up to the main shrine or hire an alternative method like, pony or Doli services, which will be incurred at your own cost. Helicopter services can also be availed up till Sanjichhat, which will also be incurred at your own cost. After the completion of your Darshan, you will be escorted back to Katra where you will be staying the night.

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to Srinagar which will be an extremely breathtaking journey across mountains and through lush green forests and will be a journey of 8 to 10 hours. You will also be taken across Asia’s longest tunnel, Jawahar Tunnel. Upon your arrival, you will be checked in to your allotted hotel where you will be staying the night.

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to Sonmarg – which is a road journey of 2.5 hours and is also known as ‘meadow of gold’, since it is set amidst a charming valley studded with flowers and lakes.

Sonmarg serves as the gateway to Ladakh and the starting point for the holy Amarnath Yatra. You will be immediately checked in to your allotted hotel upon arrival in Sonmarg where you will be spending the night. You also have the option of spending your leisure time in exploring nature in all its vigor.

Early in the morning, you will be made to proceed towards Neelgrath Helipad. You will be made to board the helicopter heading towards Panchtarni which is located at a walking distance of 7 km and can be covered on a helicopter within 10 mines (the helicopter services are subject to the weather conditions). The helicopter services operate up till Panchtarni. You can also use alternative travel methods to get to the holy cave-like pony or Doli (will be done at your own cost). After the completion of your Darshan and puja rituals, you will be made to return back to Panchtarni and from Panchtarni you will be made to head on towards Neelgrath via helicopter. Your return journey will be made either on the same day or the next day depending on the weather conditions and the availability of seats on the helicopter. In case you are returned back the same day you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay. On the other hand, if you plan on staying the night at Panchtarni, you will be made to stay in a tent (which will be incurred at your own cost).

Early morning will be free for your leisure activities you can relax and freshen up. Later you will be driven back to Srinagar for paying a visit to some of the holy temples here like Kheer Bhawani Mandir – an important temple for Kashmiri Hindus dedicated to goddess Kheer Bhawani; Sharada Mandir – an abandoned Hindu temple, which is also one of the 18 Maha Shakti Peeths making it one of the most important temples across South Asia; Mughal Gardens – a magnificent group of gardens complete with pools, fountains, and canals; Nishat Bagh – which is a terraced green garden and the second largest Mughal garden within Kashmir valley.

After a day of fun sightseeing, you will be taken back to your hotel for staying the night.

Post breakfast you will be escorted to one of the most beautiful sites of Gulmarg (meadow of flowers) which is located at a road journey distance of 2 hours. Here you have the option of enjoying a fun pony and gondola ride (the cost will be incurred by you on a direct payment basis). Later you will be driven back to Srinagar for an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to Jammu, en route Avantivarman ruins – 1100-year-old ruins of a temple which was dedicated to Lord Vishnu and was constructed by king Avantivarman. Later you will be driven to Patnitop which is at a distance of 6 hours. Here you will be made to visit nag Mandir – a 600-year-old temple dedicated to the serpent deity.

Later you will be driven to Jammu, which is located at a distance of 3 hours and 10 mines, whereupon your arrival you will be made to check in to your hotel for staying the night.

You amaranth Yatra tour with Vaishno Devi will conclude today when after breakfast you will be made to drive to Delhi covering a road journey of 11 hours.
