After having your breakfast in the morning you will be made to head on for your next destination of Mahabalipuram which is a world-renowned UNESCO world heritage site and is home to some of the most spectacular collection of Rock Cute Temples. This will be an overall journey of 1.5 hours and en route you will also be made to visit the holy Kanchipuram which is located at a distance of around 2 hours from Chennai. Kanchipuram also houses around 1,000 temples and occupies a place as one of the sacred seven cities of India. Apart from this the place is also home to Shankaracharya seer. It is also a great place for people looking to shop for Sarees. Upon your arrival in Mahabalipuram, you will be checked in to your hotel here for staying the night.

After having your breakfast in the morning in Mahabalipuram you will be taken on a half day of guided sightseeing tour here. you will be covering places like – Mahishasura Mardini Caves, UNESCO world heritage site of shore temples, Panch Rathas – displays ancient monolithic temples etc. later on you will be made to head on to Chennai where you will be dropped off at your departure location at airport or station.
