Day 01: Delhi Arrival
Welcome to India! On Arrival at Delhi International Airport, Namaste India Trip Representative will greet and meet you and transfer you to Hotel. Check into Hotel. Evening time is free for you to explore Delhi Haat. Later back to hotel and Overnight stay at Delhi.
Delhi: Delhi takes pride in being the capital of the country for many dynasties. It is, in fact, a city wrapped in legend, where time flows differently, and where every moment becomes a moment of history. A vibrant melting pot, it encapsulates two very different worlds, the ‘old’ and the ‘new’, each representing delectably different experiences. It is sprinkled with glittering gems like: captivating ancient monuments, magnificent museums, a vivacious performing-arts scene and some of the subcontinent’s yummiest places to eat. Delhi blends within its folds the great cultural variety of India with many attraction including Red Fort, The Qutub Minar, The Humayun’s Tomb, The India Gate, The Lotus Temple, The Akshardham Temple.
Chandni Chowk, Delhi Haat, Janpath market, Connaught Place, Khan market are top markets in Delhi which is a treasure trove of goods waiting to be discovered.
Day 02: Delhi City Tour/ Varanasi By Train
Today after having a hearty breakfast, we are fully packed to explore the old and in New Delhi including Red Fort, the Jama Masjid and the Humayun Tomb. Along the streets of old Delhi you will see the Raj Ghat and Mahatma Gandhi Memorial. Return to your hotel in the evening. Later we will transfer you to railway station to catch your train towards Varanasi. Overnight Journey.
Day 03: Arrive Varanasi
Arrive in Varanasi. Met on arrival at Varanasi railway station and transfer to Hotel (standard check-in time at the hotel is 1200 hrs noon). Afternoon sightseeing tour of Varanasi visiting bathing ghats, The Kashi Vishwanath Temple, The Durgakund, The Sankat Mochan — Shrine of Monkey God Hanuman. Overnight in Varanasi.
Day 04: Varanasi – Allahabad
Morning, after breakfast transfer towards Varanasi by Train. Upon arrival, transfer to Hotel, later we will go to have a sacred bath in Triveni Sangam (Meeting point) of the three rivers – Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati. Here the Maha Kumbh Mela is held every 12 years which is a major Hindu festival. Later visit Ananda Bhawan & lying Hanuman Temple. Evening free for leisure. Overnight Stay at Allahabad.
Sangam: Around 7 km from Civil Lines, overlooked by the eastern ramparts of the fort, wide flood plains and muddy banks protrude towards the sacred Sangam. At the point at which the brown Ganges meets the Greenish Yamuna, pandas (priests) perch on small platforms to perform puja and assist the devout in their ritual ablutions in the shallow waters. Beaches and ghats are littered with the shorn hair of pilgrims who come to offer Pind for their deceased parents.
Day 05: Allahabad – Khajuraho (300 kms/7 hrs)
Today Morning after breakfast we will move towards Khajuraho by road. On arrival in Khajuraho, check-into Hotel. Evening free to enjoy light and sound show. Overnight in Khajuraho.
Khajuraho: Khajuraho, the temple city of central India, is famous Khajuraho Temple, Khajuraho Tourism Throughout the world for its exquisitely carved temples in stones. Thousands of visitors and tourists from all over the world flock together to envisage this immortal saga of Hindu art and culture engraved in stone by shilpies (stone craftsmen) millennia ago. Today, apart from the temples, Khajuraho is a small village but a thousand years ago it was a large city of the Chandelas, medieval Rajput kings who ruled over Central India.
Day 06: Khajuraho – Orchha (180 kms/03 hrs)
Today after Breakfast go for sightseeing tour of Khajuraho visiting Eastern and Western group of temples. Later departure for Orchha by road and check into the Hotel. Overnight in Orchha.
Orchha: Once the capital of the Bundelas, Orchha is now just a village set amidst a complex of well-preserved temples and palaces. It was built by Bir Singh Deo in 1531.
Day 07: Orchha – Gwalior (120 kms /03 hrs)
Today after breakfast go for the sightseeing of Orchha. The tour of Orchha takes you to the Jehangir Mahal – the largest of the palaces, the Raj Mahal with its murals and the Raj Praveen Mahal built near a garden, You would also visit Dinman Hardaul`s palace with its interesting story. The temples of Orchha are highly preserved. The two main temples are the Ram Raja Temple with its lofty spires and the Chaturbhuj temple. Later drive to Gwalior by road. On arrival in Gwalior check into the Hotel. Overnight in Gwalior.
Day 08: Gwalior – Agra (120 kms/03 hrs)
Today after breakfast visit Gwalior including The Gwalior Fort, The Teli Temple, The Sas Bahu Temple and The Jain Sculptures. Also visit The Archaeological Museum, Jai Vilas palace and museum. Later, drive to Agra by road and check into the hotel. Overnight in Agra.
Day 09: Agra – Jaipur (250 kms /05 hrs)
Today morning after breakfast visit The Taj Mahal and later drive to Jaipur. Enroute visit Citadel Mughal Emperor Akbar’s Fatehpur Sikri. Check into your hotel on arrival at Jaipur. Evening free for leisure. Later we will move for dinner at “Chokhi Dhani” which is famous for Rajasthani Cuisne. Overnight in Jaipur.
Jaipur: Apart from being the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is also the largest city of the state. The foundation of the city dates back to the eighteenth century, with credit to the great warrior and astronomer Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The glorious past of Jaipur comes alive in the palaces and forts in the city where once lived the royal clans. The majestic forts and havelis, the beautiful temples, the serene landscapes, and the rich cultural heritage, have made Jaipur an ideal destination for tourists.
Day 10: In Jaipur
Morning after breakfast; enjoy visiting Amber Fort with an elephant ride there. Later on enjoy sightseeing city tour of Jaipur. Visit City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal. Evening free for shopping local handicraft. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 11: Jaipur – Delhi and Depart
Today farewell to India with lots of Love and memorable pictures. We will drop you airport for you’re onwards journey.
